The direction of the next, third international meeting of partners of the project “Green Run Network – ecological education through running events (GREENet)” co-financed by the Erasmus + Sport Program was frosty Kaunas (Lithuania).

The event was held on December 9-10 this year and was hosted by the Lithuanian Amateur Runners Association. The Mountaineering Ski Sports Society ”Železničar” Novi Sad, as the partner on project, was represented by a two-person delegation consisting of: mr Nenad Sudarov – race director FGT and mr Aleksandar Radukin – marketing manager FGT.

Project partners worked together on environmentally friendly solutions in the organization of running events. However, the main topic of the meeting was the preliminary development of educational materials for participants of running events. Moreover, as part of the study visit, the partners had the opportunity to visit the University of Sports in Kaunas, where a part of the meeting devoted to establishing contacts and exchanging experiences with Lithuanian organizers of sports events took place.
